Fund the campaign that will fix California insurance.

Sean Lee does not take corporate insurance money. This campaign is funded by Californians who want their insurance market back. Every dollar buys mailers, door knocks, and ads in the final 20 days before the primary.

Other ways to give

Check

Mail a check

Make payable to Sean Lee for Insurance Commissioner 2026. Mail to the campaign treasurer address listed on the receipt. Include your full name, address, occupation, and employer (required by California law for any contribution over $100).

Recurring

Monthly giving

A recurring $25 monthly is more valuable to the campaign than a one-time $300. It lets us plan staff and field operations. Toggle the recurring option in the donation form.

In-kind

In-kind contributions

Have a printing press, a venue, a graphic-design service, or another asset the campaign could use? In-kind contributions count toward the $9,300 limit and require reporting. Contact the campaign first.

Frequently asked

Is my donation tax deductible?

No. Contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible under federal or California state law.

What information will I need to provide?

Full legal name, mailing address, occupation, and employer (the latter two are required by state law for any contribution over $100). Email and phone are optional but help the campaign keep you updated.

Will my name be made public?

California state law requires that campaign contributions of $100 or more be disclosed on FPPC filings, which become part of the public record. Smaller donations are aggregated.

Can I donate from outside California?

Yes. Any U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident may donate to a California state campaign. Foreign nationals may not.

Does Sean take money from insurance companies?

No. By personal policy, the campaign declines contributions from insurance companies, insurance industry trade associations, and executives of those companies. This is the conflict-of-interest line.
